It’s the beginning of November and I can’t believe just how quickly this year is flying by… it feels like I blinked and missed a whole month… or two… or three! To say that I have been keeping myself busy, is an understatement.

Early Morning Bliss
It’s just past 7am on this beautiful Wednesday morning. Ray has just left for work and I am enjoying the peace and quiet in the house while the children are still asleep. Somehow, our two rugrats find their way into our bed each and every single night, and it’s not always easy for me to slip out unnoticed. I love my children, but I cherish these quiet moments of solitude.

Catching up
It’s that time of year again… vacation time to be more exact. We took a little trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula over the week of the 4th and we loved it!!! Our trip up there could not have come at a better time too… it was over 100 degrees at home while we were gone and only in the 80’s in the UP!!!

This week has been another milestone week. I finally decided to really concentrate on getting Abby potty trained and she’s doing great!!!
A shop update
Sew, sew, sew… I wish that I had more time during the day to sew!!! The only real uninterrupted time that I have is while the kids nap, and I have been trying to put that time to good use.
Hello again
It all started with a sore throat the Thursday before last. By Saturday, my sinuses were completely acting up and I had the chills… fantastic!!! I no longer have the chills {thankfully}, but it’s been well over a week and I still can’t go anywhere without tissues {or a roll of toilet paper… so much easier and there’s more of it!!} and there are several times a day when I swear I am going to cough out my lungs. Thankfully I am the only one who got sick and I am happy to say that I think that I’m slowly getting better.

Holy cow where did January go to so quickly? Can you believe we are already into the second month of 2012? Crazy isn’t it? Oh and it’s Friday too… will the craziness ever end? 😉
