Halloween 2011

Halloween with the Krauses

Noah picked out his costume a few days ago and couldn’t wait to wear it. As many of you know from previous posts, Noah’s best (toy) buddy is his monkey George so it was fitting that this year he was a monkey for Halloween.

Our little Abby was a little butterfly. I wasn’t sure how she would react to having the big puffy top and hood on, but she didn’t seem to mind it at all and was crawling around with it on within seconds of having it on.

Who know’s what she’s thinking here! All I know is that she wouldn’t smile, she would just sit there with her mouth open like that! =)

My mom and her fiance drove up to see the kids in their costumes and go out with us. Here’s Noah holding his Omi’s hand on the way to the first house. Look at that cute little monkey tail!!

Abby was busy watching her brother walking off with Omi.

Checking out his loot.

Getting an even closer look at it.

Noah would run to Ray every time we left a house. He just had to show daddy what he got… he was so happy and proud of himself!

The fresh air got to be too much for one little butterfly and she took a little nap while her brother was out filling his bag with candy and treats.

Since this was Noah’s first real year trick or treating we worked on his “Trick or Treat” and “Happy Halloween”. When it came time to actually say it though, he would either say it so quietly that it was hard to hear him or he wouldn’t say anything at all. He did do well with his “Thank You” though, even if he was saying it as he turned around and walked away. He had such a blast and eventually got into the groove of things wanting to go to each and every single home.

I’m linking up to the SITS girls again… I want to win the camera giveaway!! =)

  1. Awwwh!!! They were so cute and I love that Noah finally “got” Halloween. He is an adorable monkey. Abby as a baby butterfly is just precious. Too funny on her non-smiling pictures. I hate when that happens. 🙂

  2. Aww! Both our girls were butterfly’s! How about that?!

Super sweet! I wish our weather was cool enough for costumes like that! We were sweating Saturday AND Sunday! Ugh!!

Callie got Halloween this year too! I think that was my favorite part of all of it. Her little “trick-or-treat’s” were just too sweet, and helped with her loot for sure! However, the only loot she cared about were the lollipops. 🙂

    Great pics, as always!!
