2 Years and Counting
Two years ago today Ray and I were in the middle of trying to put up crown molding in the master bedroom… it was our first time and thank goodness none of the kids were born yet, because if I remember correctly there were a few choice four letter words being used regularly by at least one of us. I was 20 weeks pregnant and Ray and I had just found out a few days earlier that we were having a boy (hello Noah!!).

Today would have been my due date… I had been so worried about how we would be spending Easter, seeing that I was due on Good Friday. While I knew that there was a possibility that Abby might be with us already, I never thought that she would be 4 weeks old on the day she was due!!! After having to deal with snow and rain this weekend, Spring has (hopefully) arrived for good here in the Midwest. To celebrate the warm weather (again), we spent some time out in the fresh air. Spring Break
It’s spring break and I’ll admit that even though I have quite a bit of studying to do, I am happy to not have to drive in to school this week. Sure I only go in on one night a week, but even that has been a bit much these past two weeks. So much so, that for the past two weeks I have only gone to class long enough to take a quiz or exam and then I drove back home.
Spring {Foto Friday}
We got a taste of spring this week here in the Midwest! Noah had fun chasing the football and started to get used to what it feels like to walk on grass again. Abby was out in the fresh air with us too, but confined either to her carseat or my arms. And… despite the threat of snow again this weekend, my emerging tulips let me know that winter is on it’s way out!!!

12 days old {Wordless Wednesday}
I can’t believe she’s 12 days old already!! I made this little hat for her. She’s so small that even the preemie hats are too big for her head and I didn’t want to keep the hat from the hospital on her all of the time!
