Noah and I drove down to Omi’s on Sunday… it was a special visit, because 2 of my cousins from Germany were there to visit along with two of their friends. It was a fun day and Noah got to hear a lot of German being spoken. K thought she’d be silly while I was taking pictures of Noah and Nonno eating cherries…
We still don’t know what to do with the dog in November. I don’t want to go to Florida without Ray, but we’re not sure she’ll survive being kenneled… I mean she’s 15 1/2 years old. What to do? What to do?!!!
I start class tomorrow evening. Ray will be watching Noah for the almost 4 hours that I will be gone. That should be no problem, with one exception… Noah is still very much a breast man. Since becoming pregnant, my milk supply has gone down a little, but it’s still there for the most part… that’s great most of the time… but it won’t be on Wednesday and Thursday evenings! We’ve been trying to get him used to bottles with formula… but he refuses to drink them unless I give them to him in tandem to nursing. So now, between today and tomorrow, we need to work overtime on getting him used to the powdery stuff (we’ve started calling it super milk haha).
The pregnancy is going great so far. I am 8 1/2 weeks along and so far so good. The only thing I can complain about is that I am tired, hormonal and queasy at times.
Like I said… I start class tomorrow. Ray thinks it’s exciting…me not so much. I haven’t been in a formal classroom in over 9 years (and then it was in German) and after being at the school yesterday to pick up books, I fear I may be one of the oldest in there. YAY!!! I’m sure it won’t be hard (learning has always been easy for me), I’m just not good with new things.
What have you been up to lately?
You will get right back into the flow of school before you know it! It’s gonna be great!
My little one never took a bottle unless I was nowhere around. If she could smell me or sense me or see me, forget about it.
I hope you figure out the best solution for your dog. š
I know that you will do a fantastic job in school. I am wishing lots of luck tomorrow!
I can’t wait to hear about school. I haven’t been in class for 11 years, and I know I will be so anxious when I go back!!
Have you tried whole milk with Noah yet in a sippy cup? Would that maybe help out with the BF while you’re gone?
Glad to hear that you are feeling pretty good too. That’s always a huge plus! š
I’m glad you are feeling well! I am tired. Gosh, you don’t think I’m pregnant do you? Nope, just lazy:)
