I’m having a bit of a hard time right now making a decision… which if you know me, is nothing new. I am probably one of the most indecisive people out there!! When I finally do make a decision, it is so hard for me not to go and second guess whether that was the right decision or not.
Which leads me to now.
When I opened up Noby Designs, I did so as an extension to this blog. I loved that I could design the store the way that I wanted… that I wasn’t limited in any way (other than my coding abilities). I’m now wondering if maybe I should have opened shop on etsy.com. So today, in between taking care of the kids and the laundry, and in between working on new products (some cute tutu’s) and editing their photo’s, updating the Noby Designs store and Facebook fan page, I have started putting together an etsy store… I know, I’m a little bit crazy and a little bit obsessed… did I mention that in the list up there? No? Well I guess I should add slightly obsessive to it.
Sooooo…. before I switch over to that though, I would like to ask you…
Are you more likely to buy from an etsy store or an independent online store?

WOW! I think you need to give yourself credit. You not only take on allot, but you succeed on so many fronts!! To answer your question, I would more likely buy from an independent site, but only because I don’t know what etsy is. Unlike you, I am technologically challenged!! Hee hee! This beginning may have its growing pains, but with your drive and determination I am confident that Noby Designs will be one of your many successes no matter where you host the site!

Oh yes! I am a worry wart too. I re-thought my photography stuff a million times and I am still not certain of the name or website, or anything! I like Etsy shops. But I’m not sure what the differences are for you.
I’m sure you will do the right thing! (Can you not do both?)

Only thing that would sway me to Etsy as a shop owner is you might get more traffic that way by people searching? You will do great at either/both!!!
