Two weeks… that’s when I have my next appointment with my ob.
Two weeks… that’s when I get to see and hear my little munchkin again.
Two weeks… that’s when we will (hopefully) be finding out whether or not we need to turn our loft into a third bedroom.
Two weeks… I can’t wait!!
I had my last ob appointment last Wednesday. Everything went normal. They took some more blood for even more routine tests… the bruise on my right arm is just now starting to fade. I took Noah with me this time… he behaved but was more than happy to leave. I was told to come back in 4 weeks… but I wanted to make sure that everything was okay to fly before leaving for Florida, so I asked if it could be 3… in the end thanks to scheduling the appointment ended up being just under 3 weeks away… now it’s only two weeks away and I can’t wait.
I will be 18 1/2 weeks along… this pregnancy just feels like it is flying by on a jet plane. I can’t believe that I am so close to the half way mark already. I’ve been feeling well for the most part… the only this that I could have to complain about is that I feel extremely run down 24/7 no matter how much sleep I get at night or how many naps I take during the day. Someone (I think it was a nurse in the office) said the other day that it’s my body preparing me for the weeks following the birth… I don’t know what to think of that theory and honestly I’m too tired to put much thought to it.
I looked in my day to day pregnancy book that Ray got when we were pregnant with Noah and saw that I only weigh 2 1/2 lbs more now than I did at this stage with him. Not too bad, considering that the blizzards have been flowing freely lately in this household (must take advantage of them before DQ closes for the winter!!). I have come to realize that I can no longer wear my “normal” tops without having something over them or a long top under them. In fact I am thinking of converting a few T’s that I no longer wear into home-made belly bands… I just need to find the tutorial again. I have pulled out a few maternity tops and plan on bring the box up with the rest today. Speaking of maternity clothes… I did manage to find a black cotton dress to wear to my brothers beach wedding in 2 1/2 weeks in Florida… I am so happy that I can cross that off of my list of things to do for the trip!
Anyway… two weeks… that’s when we find out if Noah is going to be a big brother to a little brother or sister… my guess is it’s a boy… but we’ll just have to wait those two weeks to find out!
I am so excited for you. It sounds like your pregnancy is progressing much like mine – fast. 🙂
How exciting, I remember those days. Kinda miss it.
I hope the two weeks fly by until the secret is revealed!
