This and That

Dream

So I know that I promised photos of the master bath, but I’ve been a little lazy and haven’t uploaded them onto the laptop yet… must do that today. 😉

Hello Monday

Hello Monday and hello little daffodil. The warm {almost} summer weather has turned into spring weather again and you  and your friends are in full bloom. I love looking out onto the deck and seeing that little pop of color that you add there! Hello trucks all lined  up in a row… it’s amazing that you

Google Friend Connect

I’m switching things up from my regular topics to write about Google Friend Connect (GFC). It seems that Google will be pulling it off of all of the WordPress websites in March and since this blog is powered by WordPress, I just wanted to make you aware of that.

Busy work

Lately I have been trying my best to keep busy and not give my mind a chance to think about more than the task at hand… while I do like to think about anything and everything, really being able to think about anything right now is not a good thing… and so I have been keeping myself busy.

Happy Holidays!

Two days from now, our family, like so many others, will be in the middle of the holiday crazies. Once again we’ll be packing the kids up and driving to visit the families… 4 stops in all during the two Christmas days… it gets to be a bit hectic and stressful, so I thought I would wish you all a very safe and Merry Christmas a few days early.

House to home

Five years ago Ray and I had only been seeing each other for 9 months. We knew very quickly that this thing that we had going on was more than just a “thing”. I think I may have mentioned it before, but I knew within two weeks of dating him that he was the man that I was going to marry.

My electronics are trying to break me!

For some reason my electronics are trying their hardest to make me look like some sort of bad girl. It started a few weeks ago, when my computer blue screened and refused to work for me. Soooo… I eventually re-installed everything and started with a clean slate. It was aggravating, I lost some files and had to re-edit photos that were being worked on when my laptop crashed, but there was no use boohooing about it and the experience actually had me feeling a little lighter in the end. Great.

Cranberry Festival 2011

As I mentioned before, Ray’s mom has been driving to the Warrens Cranberry Festival for over 30 years. If you like cranberries, then this is the festival for you! There are fresh cranberries, dried cranberries, and sweetened cranberries. There’s cranberry wine, cranberry liqueur, and cranberry beer… let’s just put it this way… there are cranberries in just about everything there!! =) Oh and did I mention that they have fried cheese curds too… mmmmm my mouth is drooling just thinking about it again.

Breathe in, breathe out…

It has been a little crazy here these past few weeks. Since the beginning of September we’ve driven to Door County Wisconsin for a rained out Labor Day weekend vacation, Noah started preschool, I decided to start Noby Designs and then started sewing up a storm in order to get some bags ready for the Warrens Cranberry Festival, we drove up to the Cranberry Festival and last but definitely not least, Ray, the kids and I celebrated a very low-key and relaxing birthday (my 34th) yesterday.
