Once again I am trying to play catch up. I haven’t been able to spend much time on the computer these past few days, and when I was able to, I was looking up online schools and degrees. While I am at home taking care of Noah, I plan on going back to school to get a degree in Early Childhood Education. I was thinking about going the online route and had intended to start enrolling yesterday, but I just couldn’t get past the cost of some of the schools. After much deliberation, the hubs and I decided that it would be best to start with classes at the local community college and then finish up at a 4 year school. I’m actually
excited!! and
scared at the same time. The last classes I took were in
Germany (in German), 9 years ago for my
industrial business degree (yeah I know, quite a change from what I want to do now). I was never one who had to study much in school, so I hope that it won’t be to hard to get back into the swing of things. I guess what I’m freaked out by the most are writing papers and things like that, seeing that the papers I had to write over there were a bit different than any I had written over here. But I’ll get through it.
So here I am now trying to catch up on my reader – so many posts to read and more just keep coming! To make things a little easier, I have found another nifty tool for Firefox. It’s called ScribeFire and lets me blog without actually having to go to Blogger! It’s fantastic so far, I love that it opens a half window on top of the window I already have up, so I can still read it or blog about it without have to constantly switch back and forth between tabs like before. If you’re a Firefox junky like I am you might want to try it out if you haven’t already.
In other news, Noah slept from about 9 pm til almost 5 am this morning (with a diaper change and dream feed around 11 last night). It was so very, very nice not to have to get up at 1am again!! Hopefully this will be the start to a new nighttime schedule! I could live with just getting up once at 5.
I will be posting again soon, I have a few awards to pick up and a photo tag to play. I may just have to do that tomorrow while the hubby is watching the 5 hours of pregame analysis that I’m sure will be on 🙂 Go Steelers!!
