Tell it Tuesday – Growing up

Tell it Tuesday Button

The kids are growing up much too fast. Noah has been mostly dry during the day for about a week now and Abby is just a chubby little rolling machine. She had her 4 month check up last week and weighed in at  16 pounds! She’s such a happy little girl (probably because she never has to worry about not getting enough to eat), she’s always smiling and laughing.

Ray and I have already joked around about Abby having a personality more like myself and Noah’s being more like Ray. Noah is so strong willed and things just HAVE to go his way. We are once again butting heads about nap and bed time and it is a fight that I am getting so very tired of. I wish that Noah could just be a little more like his little sister in that department. She is a great sleeper… something Noah never was and still isn’t.

Right now though they are both napping… which is just pure bliss if you ask me, and that’s why I’m jumping online to post this quick little update. I also wanted to let you know that I’ve written another post for Our Mommyhood and  it’s being featured today. I’d love it if you would go check it out. =)

  1. It’s so funny how the kids can be so different from each other! My ex and my daughter butt heads because they’re so alike, but my son and I are very alike and never butt heads. LOL

    1. They are so similar and yet completely different in so many ways. I’m really hoping Abby keeps her calm, happy demeanor! I can only deal with a limited number of Type A’s in the house! ha!

  2. awww! i looove some chubby babies. mine is headed that way… he had gained 2 lbs between weeks 1 and 4… ahhh! 🙂 i love it when personalities shine through. so much fun.

    1. That’s about what Abby gained in that time too… by 2 months, she had gained 6 pounds and doubled her birth weight. I love chubby babies too, I just can’t get enough of her pudgy little thighs.

    1. Thanks! We’ve been putting Abby in the crib in Noah’s room the past 2 nights and although he still put up a fight (and still hasn’t slept through the night in his room), bedtime was better last night.
