Google Friend Connect

I’m switching things up from my regular topics to write about Google Friend Connect (GFC). It seems that Google will be pulling it off of all of the WordPress websites in March and since this blog is powered by WordPress, I just wanted to make you aware of that.

I personally have “joined”  many sites through GFC in order to read their posts through Google Reader… you may have done the same. At this time, I don’t know if GFC “followers” or “joiners” of WordPress blogs will still see updated posts in their reader.

So… I am asking this favor of the 202 of you that follow me right now on Google Friend Connect… if you like what I write and want to continue to get updates on new posts, please look over in the sidebar and under the “Let’s Connect” section, please choose an alternate subscription method… either by subscribing directly to my RSS feed or email updates.
