Yesterday was an exciting day for the kids… Noah was excited that the “racing cars” were back on TV thanks to the Daytona 500 {which got rained out}. He wanted to turn on the TV and start watching the race at 9am! Too bad it wasn’t scheduled to start until much later!! haha! That didn’t stop him from racing through the house though and Ray was able to capture Noah’s best race day face…
Abby on the other hand was playing “dress-up” during that time. She pulled on her tutu over her pajama’s, put on her “pretty hat” and her best smile. Then she grabbed some blocks, sat on Noah’s bed and played! She was a little more camera shy though {darn that paparazzi!!}, but we got the shot anyway!!
The rest of the day was spent playing, attacking daddy, riding the “roller coaster” they got from my sister {it’s the Radio Flyer – Flyer 500 – and they LOVE it!!}, napping, tackling daddy some more, riding the roller coaster some more and just being little kids. In Ray’s and my eyes it was a lazy and uneventful day, but the kids didn’t seem to mind – and honestly sometimes I think that those are the best days!

Yep, I watched the Oscars (watch every year!) I thought the show was pretty good… definitely some funny moments. My favorites were when Melissa McCarthy and Rose Byrne kept the “Scrocese Drinking Game” going from the SAG awards… and when the winners for Best Adapted Screenplay came up to accept their awards, and the one guy stuck his leg out and posed like Angelina! That was hilarious!
