Abby is two!

Abby turned two earlier this week… I can’t believe how fast time flies. It feels like not so long ago I was holding this little girl in my arms for the first time…

and now here we are two years later and she is an energetic and headstrong little girl!!!

We had her two year appointment and I am happy to say that not only is she growing well {she’s 36 inches tall and in the 95th percentile for height!!!}, there were no shots involved!! Yay!!!

We will be celebrating her birthday with family and friends in a few days, but she had a little celebration with us on her big day… there were a few gifts and some homemade cake… nothing extravagant, but I know that she had a great time.

I still need to take a photo of one of her gifts and the birthday banner that I finished sewing for her. Boy was that an adventure… I found out the hard way what it feels like to sew into a finger… through the nail… and let me tell you this… it does not feel good!!! I sucked it up and finished her gift and banner, despite the fact that I was hurting. I have to say though that this injury didn’t hurt nearly as long as to closing the door on a finger {the same finger btw}.
