Over the past few months, I haven’t been able to sew as often as I like, since I now have one child who doesn’t nap and two others who refuse to sleep at the same time. The problem with that is that I need to craft and create… my sanity depends on it and I’ve realized that when I don’t get the time to create, I get very, very crabby… which is not good for anyone! =)
I’ve found that it’s very easy (and therapeutic) to pick up my hook and yarn and crochet a row or two while the kids are busy eating or riding their bikes. I have a few large projects that I’m working on, but the satisfaction of seeing smaller projects come together quickly is great, so I started the piece that belongs to the foot up there. (If you follow me on Instagram, you may have gotten another peek of it!)
I’ve really loved making this toy… and Abby is very eager to get it into her hands, but there’s still a little work to be done on it. It will be done soon though and I can’t wait to show you!
