Ah Twitter… I think I am starting to have a love/hate relationship with you. I love that you are there I really do, it’s just… well… you take up so much of my “computer time”.
You see I don’t get the chance to sit at the computer for hours, with me its a few minutes here and then a few minutes there, mainly when the little guy is taking one of his 10 minute power naps. In between I am trying to keep the little guy from pulling on electrical cords, playing with his daddies pc case flaps, pulling on the doggies hair, prying out theso called “childproof” outlet safety plugs (yes he is 8 1/2 months old and has already figured out how to pull them off of the outlets… great) and getting into any other trouble now that he army crawls anywhere and everywhere his chubby little arms will take him.
Sure I guess its my fault for following the people that follow me back… yes, I could discriminate a little more in who I do and don’t follow. But how will I know if I like them unless I “try” them out for a little while? Besides, that isn’t even the problem. No, the problem is that I feel like I should read every.single.tweet that comes through from each person I follow (at the moment all 334 of them).
I don’t think I can do that anymore. It just takes up too much time. I have resorted to skimming tweets, but even that takes longer than I would like it to. It leaves me with no time to write a line or two in a new blog post!! I really do not like that you are coming between me and my blogs… I am going to have to draw the line somewhere.
So here I am, trying to figure out what I can do to manage both of you and give you both the attention you deserve. I will try to work it out so that you both have somewhat equal time, but you will have to understand if you see a little less of me. The Musings and the little Guys blog need me too. I will still be updating and checking in, but not as often as I have been. I hope that is okay with you.
