Almost turkey day

Here we are, the night before turkey day 2011. Ray has the week off and the kids and I are enjoying being able spend a lot of time with him! To be quite honest, I’m also enjoying the extra pair of hands at home since he was gone for four days last week and the littlest Krause to be seems to be draining me of most of my energy right now! {In case you’re wondering, that is the facebook hint that I was talking about in my last post! Provided all goes well, baby #3 should be here in July 2012!!!}

While we {okay, I} have been relaxing a little more than usual this week, we did take the kids out for some fun at the museum this past Monday. We hadn’t been to the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry since before Noah’s first birthday and I thought now would be a good time to go again. I’m glad we went too, because the kids had a blast!

Yes, Abby was being a little more than super cute and photogenic that day… until she got tired and then only snacks would keep her quiet and calm until we got to the van… she was passed out within 30 seconds!!! ha!

I had never been to the museum at this time of year and I have to say that it was fun looking at all of the decorated trees. The day did take it’s toll on me though and I was ready to sit on the couch and just relax once we got home.  =)

I hope you have had a great week and want to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!
