Abby is two!
Abby turned two earlier this week… I can’t believe how fast time flies. It feels like not so long ago I was holding this little girl in my arms for the first time…
Happy Leap Day!
It seems that on Leap Day the kids only have to nap for 30 minutes… sigh. They both fell asleep in the van, while running some errands, and of course both woke up as soon as I brought them inside. Any attempts to get them to go back to sleep have failed… so it’s just one of those days.
Race and Oscar ready
Yesterday was an exciting day for the kids… Noah was excited that the “racing cars” were back on TV thanks to the Daytona 500 {which got rained out}. He wanted to turn on the TV and start watching the race at 9am! Too bad it wasn’t scheduled to start until much later!! haha! That didn’t stop him from racing through the house though and Ray was able to capture Noah’s best race day face…

The saying is that you are what you eat, right? If that’s the case, then I am a walking ice cream, cheese, cereal,milk, potato, pasta, hamburger and ground turkey using freak. Naturally I eat more than just those few foods, but if I had to list my favorites… there you go.

Holy cow where did January go to so quickly? Can you believe we are already into the second month of 2012? Crazy isn’t it? Oh and it’s Friday too… will the craziness ever end? 😉

Busy work
Lately I have been trying my best to keep busy and not give my mind a chance to think about more than the task at hand… while I do like to think about anything and everything, really being able to think about anything right now is not a good thing… and so I have been keeping myself busy.

Winter has finally arrived in the Midwest… well, it’s at least here for the weekend. =) We had a pretty busy day today and weren’t really able to go outside and enjoy the snow, but that doesn’t mean that the kids didn’t get the chance to play with it!
