It’s Christmas everywhere!

That’s Noah’s newest saying… we’ll be in a store, driving down the road or just coming down the stairs and Noah will stop, look around and say “It’s Christmas everywhere!” It’s too cute!! Ray said it once and it’s been Noah’s thing since then. I love seeing the excitement in his eyes as he sees the decorations and the lights, and I love that he wants to turn the lights on the tree on as soon as we get up… but they’re on a timer so I make up some excuse as to why I don’t. The little bugger has learned how to plug in the lights on the railing though, so I guess there will be a safety plug added to the extension cord!

Abby is 9 months old!

How can it be that my baby girl is 9 months old already? When did this happen and who gave her permission to grow up so quickly?!! It’s been a crazy few days here this past week… we finally got some snow!! Yay!! I swear I was off by a day or two all week last week… I would have bet money one day last week that it was only Tuesday, when in fact it was already Thursday!!! Seriously how do I lose track of two days like that? So imagine my surprise when on Sunday I happened to notice the 9 month sticker on Abby’s baby calendar staring at me. How had it become the 5th of December already?

Hello November

November is finally really here in the Midwest. It only took her almost half a month, but there’s no denying it now. It is cold, rainy and all around just cuddle up inside with a blanket weather. It’s not all that bad though… I actually like the colder weather… I just don’t like the cold rainy days. I’m hoping that we have a few nice days this week so that I can go out and plant some tulip bulbs before the ground freezes.

More teeth and other updates

I few week have passed since the last update on the children and all I can say is that they have not slowed down where the milestones are concerned.

Our little Abigail is stunning us with how quickly she is learning new things. Less than 4 weeks after starting to crawl, she is now pulling herself up on anything and everything she can and is starting to cruise
