Friday the 13th
Friday the 13th and I do not get along… and whenever possible I try not to leave the house on those days. Strange things just seem to happen to me on those particular days and I prefer not to tempt fate.

A shop update
Sew, sew, sew… I wish that I had more time during the day to sew!!! The only real uninterrupted time that I have is while the kids nap, and I have been trying to put that time to good use.
Hello again
It all started with a sore throat the Thursday before last. By Saturday, my sinuses were completely acting up and I had the chills… fantastic!!! I no longer have the chills {thankfully}, but it’s been well over a week and I still can’t go anywhere without tissues {or a roll of toilet paper… so much easier and there’s more of it!!} and there are several times a day when I swear I am going to cough out my lungs. Thankfully I am the only one who got sick and I am happy to say that I think that I’m slowly getting better.
Abby is two!
Abby turned two earlier this week… I can’t believe how fast time flies. It feels like not so long ago I was holding this little girl in my arms for the first time…
Happy Leap Day!
It seems that on Leap Day the kids only have to nap for 30 minutes… sigh. They both fell asleep in the van, while running some errands, and of course both woke up as soon as I brought them inside. Any attempts to get them to go back to sleep have failed… so it’s just one of those days.
Race and Oscar ready
Yesterday was an exciting day for the kids… Noah was excited that the “racing cars” were back on TV thanks to the Daytona 500 {which got rained out}. He wanted to turn on the TV and start watching the race at 9am! Too bad it wasn’t scheduled to start until much later!! haha! That didn’t stop him from racing through the house though and Ray was able to capture Noah’s best race day face…
