The plan this morning was to spend our “free time” portion of the day (the 2 – 3 hours after breakfast but before lunch and naps) going to the post office and then to the store to find Noah a suit that he could wear in my mom’s upcoming wedding. We had spent the past 2 days at home, so that was the plan… until Abby decided to change it.
I’ve been so bad about updating the craft projects I’ve been working on over the past few weeks… well if I’m being honest, I haven’t been so great at completing 1 project a week either… so I’m a little behind. *sigh* I guess I need to step it up a little if I really do want to complete 52 projects in 52 weeks.

My mom and her fiancé are getting married in just a few short weeks, and last night she was surprised with a bachelorette party.
Now that all of the winter holidays are over and it is officially Springtime ( YAY!! Though you would never know it by looking or going outside today), I thought it would be a good idea to get some cheerful decorations in the house. Now that Abby’s birthday is over and the thank you cards have all (hopefully) been delivered, I feel like time can start moving again here at home. No more worrying about what needs to be done and taken care of… everything is just back to life as usual… thank goodness!!

One of the problems with living in a townhouse is that there isn’t much room to celebrate in the colder months, especially when the immediate family is as large as ours is. Because of this, Abby’s first birthday ended up being a pizza party at one of our favorite local pizzeria’s… not what you may expect of a first birthday, but it turned out great!
