Why make plans?

The plan this morning was to spend our “free time” portion of the day (the 2 – 3 hours after breakfast but before lunch and naps) going to the post office and then to the store to find Noah a suit that he could wear in my mom’s upcoming wedding. We had spent the past 2 days at home, so that was the plan… until Abby decided to change it.

Craft Time – Weeks 6-12

I’ve been so bad about updating the craft projects I’ve been working on over the past few weeks… well if I’m being honest, I haven’t been so great at completing 1 project a week either… so I’m a little behind. *sigh* I guess I need to step it up a little if I really do want to complete 52 projects in 52 weeks.

Easter Egg Garland {Tutorial}

Now that all of the winter holidays are over and it is officially Springtime ( YAY!! 104 Days of Summer Vacation…

Can anyone (other than Ray and Noah) finish the lyrics for me?!? If you can then you your children are as hooked on Phineas and Ferb as we are Noah is. I had seen an episode back before we got rid of cable (almost a year ago), but Noah was too young, so it didn’t catch on here in the Krause house… until last week that is.

Mama’s little helper

I decided to tackle the clothes in my closet and dresser last week. I have fallen behind in my cleaning schedule over the past few weeks, thanks in part to both kids getting sick and then Abby’s birthday. Since all of that is behind us now, I decided to take back my house and start reorganizing again.

Abby’s Pizza Party

One of the problems with living in a townhouse is that there isn’t much room to celebrate in the colder months, especially when the immediate family is as large as ours is. Because of this, Abby’s first birthday ended up being a pizza party at one of our favorite local pizzeria’s… not what you may expect of a first birthday, but it turned out great!

Happy Birthday Abigail!

Dear little Abby,

One year ago you let us know that you were a strong willed little girl… you were so determined to come out and meet us even though you were supposed to wait until April 2nd (give or take ). You were a tiny little peanut… not the big baby we were expecting and your “drive thru” delivery had the whole maternity ward talking about you.
